The project "Shkollat për Shëndetin" has established a network of School Health Coordinators in the 60 schools designated for on-site interventions during the two-year implementation period. This network is actively exchanging experiences and best practices in periodic meetings, promoting the role of School Health Coordinator, promoting health through a variety of activities linked to health education, and promoting healthy lifestyles and behaviors. The implementation of the School Health Coordinator profile in Albanian nine-year schools has shown promising potential as an effective and sustainable model for health education.

In addition, during the second year of implementation, the project "Shkolla për Shëndetin" supported the development of the manual guiding health coordinators at school level on how to effectively carry out their responsibilities and implement the profile of the School Health Coordinator as a sustainable and efficient model for healthy education in 9-year schools in Albania. This manual was the result of a inclusive consultation process that involved representatives from the Ministry of Education and Sports, the Ministry of Health and Social Protection, nine-year schools, and health promotion experts. Furthermore, the project ensured the incorporation of findings and recommendations resulting from the pilot implementation of the Health Coordinator profile in 30 schools. Through the position of School Health Coordinator, there is an ongoing commitment to fostering a healthier future for students in Albania.
