All schools selected for in-depth interventions in the second year consisted of schools in urban, peri-urban and rural areas and included also vulnerable communities (Roma/Egyptian minorities, or poor areas of the country).
In the course of the second year of the project (March 2022 – February 2023), only through in-depth interventions, the project has reached the following vulnerable people, whose proportion within project beneficiaries is significantly higher compared to the overall population in Albania:
- Roma/Egyptian children: 843 (422 girls and 421 boys)
- Children from poor families: 2,108 (986 girls and 1122 boys
- Children with special needs: 190 (101 girls and boys 89 boys)
- Roma/Egyptian parents/caregivers: 230 (223 females and 7 males)
- Parents/caregivers particularly poor: 524 (503 females and 21 males)
